For me, the best graphic design comes only from having the right experience – and applying it – building a friendly rapport with clients and really getting to grips with what their businesses are about.

Through my visual communication design degree at Middlesex University I gained a thorough grounding in the traditional principles of balance and composition – not just how to use an Apple Mac.

Then at major design agencies in London and Hertfordshire I rubbed shoulders with top creative talents and mentored junior designers. Clients included Aston Martin, Bentley Motors and Waldorf Astoria Hotels, for which I produced stunning luxury lifestyle magazines and directed photography.

It wasn’t just the big names. I designed logos for start-ups, and the full branding portfolio for small developing businesses.
