James Randall Graphic Design offers solutions and peace of mind.

I’m an easy-going, experienced, independent graphic designer based in Sawbridgeworth on the Hertfordshire–Essex border.

My clients work with me because I’m friendly, reliable, and focused. My approach is simple. I get to know my clients, and really get to grips with what their goals are. That understanding forms the basis of a good working relationship which naturally leads to purposeful, well-thought out design.

Whether I’m working for a sole trader starting out, or a large corporate, I adopt the same working principles and bring a calm, easygoing workflow and consistent results you can trust.

I’m easy-going, and can offer you the benefit of my 25 years’ experience in the industry.

For me, the best graphic design comes only from having the right experience – and applying it – building a friendly rapport with clients and really getting to grips with what their businesses are about.

Through my visual communication design degree at Middlesex University I gained a thorough grounding in the traditional principles of balance and composition – not just how to use an Apple Mac.

Then at major design agencies in London and Hertfordshire I rubbed shoulders with top creative talents and mentored junior designers. Clients included Aston Martin, Bentley Motors and Waldorf Astoria Hotels, for who I produced marketing material, luxury lifestyle magazines and directed photography.

It wasn’t just the big names though. I designed logos for start-ups, and the full branding portfolio for small developing businesses.

My service is comprehensive and professional. I’ll fulfil all your design requirements, and some.

I’ll spot details that may evade others. I want to impress and will go the extra mile to do so.

I’m proactive. I won’t need a big brief or reminders. Instead I’ll instinctively see what it is you’re after, bring fresh eyes and new ideas.

I’m cost effective because all my work is produced in-house. There’s no contracting out. No agency overheads. No intermediate project managers. No missed deadlines.

I’m open and transparent and care about what I do. If it’s not right I’ll make it right.
